The team
Innovate Educate's educationalists, writers and designers all have specific talents appropriate to subjects and age ranges. Getting the best mix of talent is key to the success of any project.
To research projects IE can draw from a pool of education specialists which includes:
- Practising teachers
- Head teachers
- Deputy head teachers
- Heads of department
- Primary specialists
- Subject specialists
- Advisers
- Learning mentors
- Special needs teachers
- Teacher trainers
Innovate Educate's writers are all professional writers. IE does not commission practising teachers to write materials, although some of our writers have teaching experience. Teachers are excellent for ideas and feedback. Professional writers with a proven track record and an accessible style are the best people to communicate these ideas.
Production process
- When the basic research has been carried out and the team has been selected, IE puts together a detailed, costed proposal, which includes visuals.
- IE then works with the client to determine the schedule.
- On approval of the proposal, the writer is commissioned. The writer will work with practising teachers to determine the content. The text is then submitted for client approval.
- On receiving approval, the project proceeds to design.
- On approval of design the project is sent to print. Prior to printing, IE checks the proofs along with the client.
